Five Fin Bonzer 6′3″

[1] 6'3" Five Fin Bonzer

This is a 6′3″ Five Fin Bonzer. This is a great choice for people who don’t want to be sinking every time they try to paddle their thruster back to the line up. This board offers all the speed and drive of a standard tri-fin but with some extra benefits. It is thicker so you can out-paddle just about half of the line up. It is faster because you can trim the board a little more plus all the water is pushed through the side fins and around the larger center fin to give it drive that is not normally found in a regular short board. You still get the feel of a single fin if desired or you can slash and burn like a tri-fin. It is all up to you. These boards are my personal choice for a good swell anywhere in town.

Square Tail Longboard 9′1″

[2] 9'1" Square Tail Longboard[3] [4]

This is a 9’1” Square Tail Longboard. This board was custom built to look as Classic as possible without losing any performance. It has 50-50 rails, a large square tail, nose concave, 8-oz volan cloth, and a glass on fin. The really unique thing about this board is the blank. The blank was cut and reglued with colored glue to give it those black stringer looking lines. This is a nice option if you like the look of multiple stringers but don’t want the extra stiffness or the added weight to your board. It also allows for a clear glass job that still looks amazing. The volan glass adds that nice little touch of green to the board when seen in person. A beautiful classic ride.

Square Tail Longboard 9′6″

[5] Square Tail Board[6]

This is a 9′6″ Square Tail Longboard. This board was custom made for a goofy-footer so the rails are a little more pinched out to help hold in that backside rail. The nose has nose concave for nice long nose rides. Coupled with the larger square tail this board could nose ride in even ankle slappers. Custom coloring was done as well as 8-oz volan cloth on the board. A great Santa Barbara board and a head turner on the beach.

Fishes

[7] Fish Boards - Green and Black [8] [9] [10]

Fishes are versatile boards and by far one of the most popular retro-boards on the market today. They work great in both small and larger surf. The Fish is also one of the fastest boards out there. Until you surf somewhere that has a really fast section that seems unlikely to ride through, much like inside Rincon gets sometimes but, if you take a Fish out there, you will surely out-run that section. Or, gather enough speed to project out and around the section. Overall, these boards are a really fast fun ride. They feel great in cutbacks as well. You should ride a Fish that is two to three inches shorter then your average short board.

Pintail 9′5″

[11] Pintail Board[12]

I made this 9′5″ Pintail board for my dad, Robert, as a surprise Christmas gift. The pintail allows for better turning and the wider nose allows for easier nose riding. This board was inspired by classic rides and incorporates many of those classic single fin elements. It has 50-50 rail, a wide nose with concave, pintail and then completed with the George Greenough 4A fin to give it those accelerated turns as well as some noseriding stability. The deck was kept clean and accented with black and green pinlining while the bottom was done in a green and blue acid wash and then pinlined as well. This board is also an epoxy board. Have fun on this one Dad.

Noserider 8′0″

[13] Noserider Board[14]

The Noserider board is really fun. It is basically a small longboard. It was designed for those days when it’s a little bigger but you still want to ride a longboard and get nose time. However, this board has also proven its self in smaller surf as well. The first wave I caught on it provided a smooth rollercoaster ride to nice flowing cutback and then a mind boggling heel hang. I couldn’t believe it. This board is also fun because due to the shorter length you can really whip it around in the turn but not have to give up any nose time. A great classic ride on a shorter board.

Diamondtail 7′0″

[15] Diamondtail Board[16]

The Diamondtail board was designed to work in both smaller waves as well as larger surf. The length and thickness of this board allow for quick paddling which helps in larger surf. It also allows the board to be trimmed instead of pumped thereby making it a great small wave board as well. This board is definitely at the top of my favorites list right now. On my smaller single fins any time I end up in the white water I am done and can’t get back out but on this board all you have to do is trim up a little, get low and it will accelerate back onto the face. This board was also done in epoxy with a green and blue acid wash on the bottom and pinlines on the laps on the deck. A great soulful ride all around.
